Hey, it’s elle kayson. In 2016, I jumped into the urban romance world, urged on by my sister, Kizzy. She and I are both longtime, avid romance readers, but her eye, in particular, has been on the urban and African American contemporary romance genres. Kizzy, as a reader, test reader, and quiet observer and I, as a reader and author, have learned much about the industry and what resonates with readers. We also share a background as former educators giving us a skillset that allows us to connect with people and impart information in effective, meaningful ways. In short, we believe we have knowledge that is beneficial to aspiring authors and methods that will help us share it. To that end, we have established elle kay gee publications (our initials are LKG) to help writers develop, polish, and share their work. We envision a small operation that allows hands on engagement and support every step of the way.
